Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Credit Controller for a fixed-term contract in Gloucester. In this role you will manage designated ledgers, maximise cash collection and collaborate with customers and internal teams to resolve issues causing delayed payments.

The position offers a 40-hour week within a mixed-location team focused on MES businesses. Key duties include onboarding risk assessments, maintaining payment plans, and reporting debt trends.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with adaptability to different audiences.
• Meticulous organization and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency with Excel including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
• Experience with customer payment portals and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Understand onboarding requirements and assess any risks.
• Follow collections processes to resolve queries and disputes quickly.
• Coordinate with invoicing and portal teams for end-to-end processes.
• Lead weekly calls to drive debt reduction and issue resolution.
• Reconcile customer accounts and monitor payment plans.
