Job summary

Brabners is seeking an organised Credit Controller to join our Finance team in Liverpool. The role involves managing a portfolio of client debt, pursuing overdue payments, and resolving disputes to support working capital objectives.

You will communicate with clients and internal stakeholders, maintain accurate notes, and escalate issues as required. Experience in credit control and accounts receivable is ideal, with strong attention to detail and Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit control, collections or accounts receivable.
• Strong communication skills with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Good relationship-building with colleagues at different levels.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of client accounts and pursue outstanding debt.
• Contact clients by phone and email to secure payment of overdue invoices.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders and monitor payment arrangements.
• Identify disputes and work with teams to resolve them.
• Review aged debt and prioritise high-value balances.
• Maintain notes of collection activity and disputes.
• Provide debt reporting updates to management.
• Support cash collection and working capital objectives.
