SSE Airtricity is seeking a Credit Controller in Belfast to monitor accounts, engage with customers and recover payments while offering flexible repayment options. The role emphasizes accurate data analysis and regular KPI reporting to management.

The successful candidate will have experience in credit control, strong Excel and Office skills, and excellent communication and negotiation abilities. A performance-related bonus and a comprehensive benefits package are included.

Qualifications

• Experience in a credit control or customer accounts environment.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Hands-on, flexible, able to multitask and work on own initiative.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor accounts and engage with customers to recover payments.
• Offer advice and flexible repayment plans based on ability to pay.
• Process incoming workflow via calls, emails, and letters; escalate issues as needed.
• Ensure compliance with debt recovery policies and regulatory responsibilities.
• Analyse data, update monthly reports and KPIs, and report to management.
