Job summary

Sharp Consultancy are working with a well-established business in Ripon to recruit a Credit Controller. You will own a portion of the ledger and manage end-to-end processes, including chasing overdue payments and maintaining customer records.

Joining a friendly finance team, you will build strong relationships with customers, negotiate payment plans, and help uphold internal controls. The role is Monday to Friday, with on-site parking and life insurance benefits.

Qualifications

• Credit control experience required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to work as part of a team.
• Experience meeting timed deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Opening of new accounts and managing your own ledger end to end
• Maintain internal and external relationships
• Chase overdue payments via phone, email and letter
• Maintaining customer records and dealing with any queries that may arise
• Managing credit limits with customers and escalating where required
• Agree and negotiate payment plans with customers
