Job summary

EPPH Ltd is seeking a detail-focused Accounts Clerk to oversee the sales ledger and credit control function in our Ipswich office. You will raise invoices, manage customer statements, and handle CIS-related processes within our CRM and accounting platforms.

Ideal candidates will have Sage 50 and Xero experience, familiarity with CRM systems, and prior exposure to the construction CIS scheme. A proactive, accurate, and collaborative approach is essential.

Qualifications

• An aptitude for IT – knowledge of software packages like Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PDF etc) and CRM Systems.
• Experience of Sage Line 50, Xero
• Experience of working within the Construction Industry and of the CIS scheme
• Previous experience in a similar role is essential

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Sales Ledger and credit control function in a fast paced environment.
• Raising sales ledger invoices and upload to customer portals; issue customer statements.
• Raising employee recharge invoices and reconciling customer accounts.
• Liaising with customers directly as necessary; set up new customers in CRM and accounting systems.
• Bank reconciliations and processing staff expenses.
• Process business credit card transactions and CIS statements to subcontractors.
