Job summary

Genuit Group is seeking a Credit Controller to join our finance team at Polypipe Doncaster. You will manage a portfolio of customer accounts, chase overdue payments and ensure cash collection stays within agreed terms.

The role requires prior credit control experience, GCSEs in Maths and English, and proficiency with Excel and accounting software (IFS preferred). You will work cross‑functionally with Sales and Transport to resolve queries and protect cash flow.

Qualifications

• Prior credit control experience is essential.
• GCSE Maths and English (A–C) or equivalent.
• Experience using accounting software; IFS preferred.
• Strong IT skills, especially Excel, and office suite.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail and deadline discipline.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and ensure timely collections.
• Chase aged debt and minimise bad debt.
• Allocate payments and maintain up-to-date records.
• Support monthly cash collection targets and reporting.
• Resolve invoice queries and liaise with internal teams.
