Job summary

Confidential in Westbury is seeking a Credit Controller to join the Finance Team. The role focuses on managing customer accounts, monitoring debt and helping maintain cash flow while upholding company procedures.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm (40 hours/week). The position offers a full-time permanent contract at an hourly rate of £12.71.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in credit control or accounts receivable.
• Experience managing customer accounts, collections and aged debt.
• Knowledge of cash allocation and account reconciliation.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing customer accounts and credit limits in line with company policies.
• Monitoring aged debt and proactively contacting customers to secure outstanding payments.
• Resolving payment queries and account discrepancies professionally.
• Allocating incoming payments accurately and completing account reconciliations.
• Prioritising overdue and high-risk accounts to minimise financial exposure.
• Liaising with internal departments to resolve billing issues.
• Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with company procedures.
