Job summary

Un cabinet d'avocats dynamique à Peterborough recherche un professionnel du contrôle des créances pour optimiser le processus de facturation et assurer la conformité aux réglementations. Le candidat idéal aura de l'expérience en cabinet d'avocats et possédera une attention exceptionnelle aux détails, tout en ayant l'initiative pour travailler de manière autonome. Qualifications

• Expérience des procédures de contrôle des créances, idéalement acquise dans un cabinet d'avocats.
• Compréhension des réglementations SRA.
• Capacité à produire un travail de haute qualité tout en gérant plusieurs projets.

Responsibilities

• Assurer un processus de recouvrement des créances de haute qualité pour tous les bénéficiaires de l'entreprise.
• Gérer le niveau de WIP en liaison avec les responsables concernés.
• Collaborer avec le contrôleur financier pour suivre la situation mensuellement.

Job description

This role involves but is not limited to:

• Deliver a high-quality collections process to all fee earners within the business and monitor the effectiveness of the process.
• Review and manage the level of WIP in the business liaising with relevant fee earners, heads of department and financial management
• Understand the firm’s billing rules
• Support the billing write off process and ensure any material amounts are brought to the attention of the Financial Controlle.
• Work with the Financial Controller in reporting within the case management system to detail the situation on a monthly basis and track progress

Requirements:

• Experience of credit control procedures preferably gain within a law firm
• Understanding of SRA regulations and regulatory environment
• Ability to plan and prioritise, produce high quality work while handling multiple projects
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
• Resilience and ability to challenge appropriately
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages
• Ability to work under own initiative
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
