Job summary

STARK Building Materials UK in Huddersfield is seeking two Credit Controllers to join our permanent team. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day credit risk on a defined debtor list, including collection of overdue accounts, follow-ups on short payments, credit limit assessments, and effective query management.

The hours operate on a rolling weekly basis with 7am-3pm, 8am-4pm, and 9am-5pm shifts. Hybrid working – 3 days in Huddersfield office and 2 days from home – is available.

• Experience in credit control or finance roles is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to use finance systems and improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day credit risk for defined debtors.
• Follow up overdue accounts and short payments.
• Assess and monitor customer credit limits in line with policy.
• Provide high-quality service to internal and external customers.

You will be responsible for managing the day to day credit risk on a defined debtor list, involving the collection of overdue accounts, follow up of short payments, credit limit assessment, and effective query management. **The hours for this role work on a rolling weekly basis and will include 7am - 3pm, 8am - 4pm and 9am - 5pm.
