Job summary

SF Partners are recruiting a Credit Controller to join a close-knit finance team. You will take ownership of your own customer ledger, building relationships, resolving queries and keeping overdue debt to a minimum.

This would suit someone who enjoys getting on the phone, investigating account queries and working closely with customers and sales teams to get payments in.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit control, ideally within an SME.
• Confident, friendly telephone manner and ability to build strong customer relationships.
• Good organisational skills and a proactive approach to chasing payments.
• Proficiency using Excel.
• Ability to investigate queries through to resolution.

• Chasing outstanding payments by phone and email.
• Managing customer accounts within agreed credit terms and limits.
• Setting up new accounts and carrying out credit checks.
• Reconciling accounts and resolving queries that delay payment.
• Working with the sales team to manage credit risk and overdue balances.
