SF Partners is recruiting a Group Credit Controller for a growing international business based in Coventry. You will own credit control and accounts receivable across multiple entities, drive collections and steer credit policy improvements.

In this hands-on role you will assess risk, set limits and terms, challenge assumptions, and partner with Sales to balance commercial opportunities with credit exposure.

Formación

• End-to-end credit control experience.
• Proven track record in collections improvement.
• Experience with international or multi-currency ledgers.
• Knowledge of credit risk assessment and credit insurance.
• Ability to challenge, advise and build cross-functional relationships.
• Strong Excel and ERP capabilities; SAP Business One is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Taking ownership of credit control and collections across international ledgers.
• Reducing overdue debt through proactive collections and query resolution.
• Assessing customer credit risk and reviewing credit limits / terms.

SF Partners are recruiting a Group Credit Controller for a growing international business based in Coventry.

This is a hands-on role with ownership of credit control and accounts receivable across multiple international entities. Alongside driving collections, you'll make commercial credit decisions, partner closely with Sales and take the lead on credit policy and process improvements.

A strong opportunity for an experienced credit professional who enjoys a broad remit and the freedom to influence how things are done.

What You'll Be Doing

• Taking ownership of credit control and collections across international, multi-currency ledgers.
• Reducing overdue debt and debtor days through proactive collections and query resolution.
• Assessing customer credit risk, reviewing credit limits and advising on payment terms.
• Working closely with Sales to balance commercial opportunities with credit exposure.
• Managing credit insurance, including cover, claims and renewals.
• Developing credit policies, strengthening controls and improving processes.
• Producing clear credit reporting and cash collection forecasts.
• Overseeing customer rebates and supporting month-end and audit activity.

What You'll Bring

• Strong experience in end-to-end credit control, with sound commercial judgement.
• A track record of improving collections and reducing overdue debt.
• Experience managing international or multi-currency ledgers.
• Knowledge of credit risk assessment and credit insurance.
• Confidence to challenge, advise and build relationships across the business.
• Strong Excel and ERP skills, with SAP Business One experience advantageous.
• Experience within manufacturing, building products or distribution would be useful, alongside a credit or accounting qualification.
