Job summary

Novuna is seeking a Credit Control Team Leader in the United Kingdom. You will lead a team of Credit Controllers, drive performance, and ensure excellent service for customers and clients.

You will collaborate with the Credit Manager and stakeholders to identify process improvements, manage workloads, and uphold security and compliance standards while developing your leadership skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Credit Control, Collections or Accounts Receivable.
• Understanding of debtor management and cash collection best practice.
• CICM knowledge/accreditation preferred but not essential.

What you’ll do.

As a Credit Control Team Leader, you’ll play a key role in the success of our Credit Control operation. Using your credit control expertise, you’ll support a team of Credit Controllers to deliver excellent service, achieve business objectives, and ensure positive outcomes for both customers and clients.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong credit control background who is looking to further develop their leadership skills in a supportive and fast‑paced environment.

Working closely with the Credit Manager and wider business stakeholders, you’ll help identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance performance, and maintain the high standards our customers expect.

You’ll also:

• Support and develop a team of Credit Controllers to achieve their objectives

What you’ll bring.

You’ll bring knowledge of Credit Control, Collections, or Accounts Receivable, along with a strong understanding of debtor management and cash collection best practice. CICM knowledge/accreditation is preferred but not essential.

You’re someone who can balance commercial awareness with a customer‑focused approach, confidently managing accounts, resolving issues, and building positive relationships.

You’ll be a great fit if you

• A background in Credit Control, Collections, or a related function
• Strong account management and customer relationship skills
• Excellent decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of debtor legal cases and associated processes
