SF Recruitment is supporting a manufacturing business based in South East London, seeking a Credit Control Manager to join at short notice.

The company has recently been acquired, and the CFO is looking for a hands-on individual to work closely with, aiming to improve short-term collections and streamline the credit control process.

Location: London (current offices in Dartford, moving to central London around Oct/Nov)

Start: ASAP

Duration: 3-5 months, with potential for permanent role

Hybrid Working: 2–3 days/week in office (more during initial setup)

• Manage and build a new credit control team (3 Credit Controllers)
• Drive collection of approximately £3–4m in older debt within a total debtor book of around £8m
• Establish credit control processes, policies, and reporting frameworks
• Collaborate with the CFO and MD on contractual settlements
• Take over from an underperforming shared service center based in India

Note: Due to urgency, candidates must be immediately available and able to work on-site in Dartford and London.
