Michael Page is partnering with a Caerphilly-based healthcare provider to recruit a Credit Control Manager. You will lead a collections team, driving cash flow improvements and process efficiencies while maintaining strong customer relationships.

The role focuses on developing collection strategies, overseeing debt reduction, and collaborating with senior finance stakeholders to support growth and working capital performance.

Qualifications

Experience managing a Credit Control function.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Proven ability to improve collections and reduce debtor days.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Highly analytical with strong reporting skills.
Experience within a fast-paced environment.
Strong systems knowledge (Excel and related tools).

Responsibilities

Lead, coach and develop a team of Credit Controllers.
Drive reduction in aged debt and improve cash collection performance.
Monitor KPIs and produce management reports.
Develop and implement collection strategies and credit policies.
Manage escalated customer queries and payment disputes.
Review customer credit limits and assess potential risks.
Support forecasting and cash flow reporting.
Build strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
Identify and deliver process improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and procedures.
