Credit Control Assistant

Fixed term contract for 12 months

Location: Winfield Hospital, Gloucester

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Full-time

Salary - Depending on experience + Benefits

Summary:

Winfield Hospital is one of Gloucestershire's leading private hospitals, located on the outskirts of the City of Gloucester. It is situated off the Northern Ring Road with excellent road and rail links.

The role:

We have a great new opportunity for an experienced Credit Control Assistant to join our team at Winfield Hospital.

As the Credit Control Assistant, you will be reporting to the Business Administration Manager. The purpose of this role is to ensure the timely and accurate allocation and collection of all hospital debts. This involves liaising with Heads of Departments, medical insurance companies, patients, and credit control agencies.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Previous Administration experience ideally in a Healthcare or data driven setting
  • Experience of dealing with payments and invoices
  • Ability to speak to all levels of management, external vendors, colleagues and patients professionally at all times.
  • Excellent customer service skills - to be provided at all times
  • Ability to deal with patients/customers in a sensitive and professional manner
  • Professional and confident communication skills - in person and by phone
  • Good computer skills - working on variety of systems
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Accuracy and reliability
  • Numerical skills
