Confidential is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our busy finance team on a 3-month temporary assignment with hybrid working. You will focus on reducing aged debt, resolving queries, and maintaining accurate customer accounts.

The role involves chasing overdue payments, handling invoice queries, cash allocation, and account reconciliations, with the opportunity to make an immediate impact from day one in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous credit control and accounts receivable experience.
• Strong communication and professional telephone manner.
• Experience with cash allocation and reconciliations.
• Ability to manage high volumes of customer accounts and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Chasing overdue payments, primarily via email.
• Handling customer account and invoice queries over the phone.
• Uploading invoices to customer portals and payment systems.
• Allocating cash and reconciling customer accounts.
• Investigating and resolving outstanding issues.
• Working through an aged debt and accounts receivable backlog.
• Supporting the wider finance team as required.
