Job summary

Wesco seeks a Credit & Collections Analyst to monitor overdue accounts, verify credit information, and contact customers to secure payments. You will work with sales, operations, finance, and contract administration to gather documents and load into the contract tracking tool for approval.

Responsibilities include evaluating credit worthiness, resolving disputes, and performing reconciliations with a focus on accuracy and timely collections.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required in accounting, finance, supply chain or business.
• NACM or similar licenses/designations preferred.
• 1–3 years experience in accounts receivable, accounting, finance, supply chain, or business.
• Familiarity with MS Office (Outlook/Excel/Word) and ERP platforms.
• Experience in B2B credit and collections in high-volume environment.
• Experience with trade credit providers (D&B/Experian/Equifax/NACM/CreditSafe).
• High level Excel knowledge preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor past-due invoices and perform high-volume collection activities by phone, email, or portal.
• Identify root causes of disputes for unpaid/short-paid invoices and document reasons.
• Conduct customer account reconciliations, researching unapplied cash, credits, and unearned discounts.
• Evaluate collectability and perform write-offs within authority.
• Obtain credit information to rate credit worthiness of new and existing accounts.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, finance, contract administration, and master data teams to gather documents and load into tracking tools for approval.
