Job summary

KennedyPearce Consulting in London partners with a city-based international bank to recruit a Credit Analyst with hands-on experience in corporate finance instruments such as syndicated loans, shipping & aviation finance, project finance and acquisitions finance. The role is on site in London, focusing on credit analysis for corporates and preparing credit review reports.

Ideal candidates will have 1–3 years in corporate banking, strong analytical skills, and excellent written and verbal

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of working experience in the corporate banking sector as a credit analyst
• Strong financial and credit analysis skills
• Proven expertise with corporate finance instruments ( syndicated loan, shipping & aviation finance, project finance, acquisitions finance )
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to extract and synthesize quantitative and qualitative data

Responsibilities

• Carry out Credit analysis for corporates
• Analyse risks on corporate banking products and prepare a credit review report
• Review credit applications and submit the credit review report
• Review credit risk at country/industry/group/corporate levels and submit the credit review report
• Monitor credit exposure limits and respond to excess risk
• Assist the credit team’s administrative work
• Review and update credit policy

Job description

We are currently partnered with a city based international bank in recruiting a Credit Analyst with proven expertise and hands‑on experience with various corporate finance instruments, e.g syndicated loan, shipping & aviation finance, project finance and acquisitions finance

Location: London, City - on site 5 days office based

Only candidates with the following Essential Industry Experience will be considered:

Financial Services or Banking working withinthe corporate banking sector as a credit Analyst Corporate Finance as a Credit Analyst

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carry out Credit analysis for corporates
• Analyse risks on corporate banking products and Prepare a credit review report
• Review the credit application (waiver) requests for various financial transactions and Submit the credit review report
• Review the Country/Industry/Group/Corporate level credit risk and Submit the credit review report
• Monitor the credit exposure limit and the change in the credit risk regarding the clients regularly, and Respond proactively to the excess and issues
• Assist the credit team’s administrative work
• Review and Update the credit policy

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• 1-3 years of working experience in the corporate banking sector as a credit analyst
• Strong financial and credit analysis skills
• Proven expertise and hands‑on experience with various corporate finance instruments (i.e. syndicated loan, shipping & aviation finance, project finance, acquisitions finance, etc)
