Job summary

Nuffield Health Bromley FWC seeks a Crèche Assistant to foster a safe, secure and stimulating creche environment where children can explore their potential through play and education.

This permanent, part-time role (16 hours weekly) requires creche experience and qualifications such as NNEB, NVQ Level 3 or BTEC; EYPS and Paediatric First Aid are preferred. Shifts run 09:00–13:00, with training opportunities and health and safety emphasis.

Qualifications

• Experience in creche environment mandatory.
• Qualified to NNEB/NVQ Level 3/BTEC; EYPS and Paediatric First Aid preferred.
• Able to work shifts between 09:00–13:00.
• Passionate about supporting children's development through play.

Responsibilities

• Take reasonable care of yourself and others while complying with Health and Safety policy.
• Create a safe, clean, tidy, secure and stimulating Crèche environment for children to explore their potential.
• Support children's physical, emotional, intellectual, social and psychological development through play and education.
• Provide equipment for play and education.
• Ensure Crèche is safe, clean and tidy at all times.
• Liaise with parents and carers regularly.

16 Hours a Week

We are looking for a Creche Assistant at our club, who will create a safe, secure and stimulating creche environment - one where children can explore their potential. You’ll consider their physical, emotional, intellectual, social and psychological development. You’ll do it through play and education, always keeping up with the latest changes in childcare legislation. We’ll give you opportunities to train in new techniques and approaches.

You’ll need proven experience in creche environment, and be qualified to NNEB, NVQ Level 3, BTEC. Ideally, you’ll also have EYPS, Paediatric First Aid. You will need to be available to work shifts between the hours of 09:00-13:00. Most importantly, you are passionate about creating great experiences for children and their families.

As a Crèche Assistant you will;
