Job summary

Nuffield Health is seeking a Creche Assistant at our Warwick club. The role involves creating a safe and stimulating creche environment where children can explore with guided play and education. You will support development across physical, emotional and social areas, and ensure safety and cleanliness at all times.

Qualified to NNEB, NVQ Level 3, or BTEC with EYPS and Paediatric First Aid desirable. Shifts are 09:00-13:00 and 16:00-18:00, Mon-Fri (some Mon-Wed). 22 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a creche environment.
• Qualified to NNEB, NVQ Level 3, or BTEC.
• EYPS and Paediatric First Aid desirable.
• Available to work shifts 09:00-13:00 and 16:00-18:00 Mon-Wed and Mon-Fri.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, secure and stimulating creche environment for children.
• Support children's physical, emotional, intellectual, social and psychological development through play and education.
• Liaise with parents and carers regularly to share progress and concerns.
• Ensure creche safety, cleanliness and organisation at all times.

Creche Assistant

Warwick Gym | Childcare | Permanent | Part time

Up to £26,707.20 pro rata depending on experience

22 hours per week

We are looking for a Creche Assistant at our club, who will create a safe, secure and stimulating creche environment - one where children can explore their potential. You'll consider their physical, emotional, intellectual, social and psychological development. You'll do it through play and education, always keeping up with the latest changes in childcare legislation. We'll give you opportunities to train in new techniques and approaches.

You’ll need proven experience in creche environment, and be qualified to NNEB, NVQ Level 3, BTEC. Ideally, you’ll also have EYPS, Paediatric First Aid. You will need to be available to work shifts between the hours of 09:00-13:00.Mon - Fri and 4-6pm Mon - Wed. Most importantly, you are passionate about creating great experiences for children and their families.

As a Crèche Assistant you will;

• Take reasonable care of yourself and others while complying with Health and Safety policy at all times.
• Create a safe, clean, tidy, secure and stimulating Crèche environment - one where children can fully explore their potential.
• Consider children's physical, emotional, intellectual, social and psychological development through play and education.
• Provide equipment for play and education.
• Ensure Crèche is safe, clean and tidy at all times.
• Liaise with parents and carers regularly in an informative and appropriate manner.
