Job summary

Nuffield Health Warwick Gym is seeking a Creche Assistant to create a safe, stimulating creche space where children can explore their potential. You will support their physical, emotional, intellectual, social and psychological development through play and education, while adhering to childcare standards.

Ideal candidates have creche experience and qualifications (NNEB/NVQ3/BTEC), with EYPS and Paediatric First Aid desirable. Shifts are 09:00-13:00 and 16:00-18:00, Mon-Fri.

Qualifications

• Proven creche experience with relevant childcare qualifications.
• NNEB/NVQ3/BTEC qualification required or advantageous.
• EYPS and Paediatric First Aid are desirable.
• Availability for part-time shifts as advertised.

Responsibilities

• Take reasonable care of yourself and others while complying with Health and Safety policy at all times.
• Create a safe, clean, tidy, secure and stimulating Crèche environment for children.
• Consider children's development through play and education.
• Provide equipment for play and education.
• Ensure Crèche is safe, clean and tidy at all times.
• Liaise with parents and carers regularly in an informative and appropriate manner.

Creche Assistant

Warwick Gym | Childcare | Permanent | Part time

Up to £26,707.20 pro rata depending on experience

22 hours per week

We are looking for a Creche Assistant at our club, who will create a safe, secure and stimulating creche environment - one where children can explore their potential. You'll consider their physical, emotional, intellectual, social and psychological development. You'll do it through play and education, always keeping up with the latest changes in childcare legislation. We'll give you opportunities to train in new techniques and approaches.

You'll need proven experience in creche environment, and be qualified to NNEB, NVQ Level 3, BTEC. Ideally, you'll also have EYPS, Paediatric First Aid. You will need to be available to work shifts between the hours of 09:00-13:00.Mon - Fri and 4-6pm Mon - Wed. Most importantly, you are passionate about creating great experiences for children and their families.
