Job summary

Wiltshire Council is seeking a proactive Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead creative recruitment campaigns, manage end-to-end hiring and oversee agency worker placements to meet short-term and specialist resourcing needs.

You will partner with hiring managers and HR colleagues to deliver targeted attraction strategies, advise on sourcing, candidate engagement and employer brand visibility, while ensuring a high-quality experience for candidates and managers.

Qualifications

• Proven recruitment experience in-house or similar fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of the 360 recruitment process from briefing to candidate clearance.
• Confident use of social media and digital platforms for attraction.
• Strong communicator able to engage with people from varied backgrounds.
• Excellent problem solving, organisational and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive and able to work independently.
• Experience using recruitment data and insights to improve outcomes.
• Commitment to high-quality candidate and hiring manager experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end recruitment lifecycle from hiring brief to onboarding checks.
• Oversee agency worker placements and manage supplier relationships for value for money.
• Provide expert sourcing strategy and employer brand visibility guidance to hiring managers.
• Design targeted attraction campaigns across social/digital channels.
• Drive continuous improvement and strategic workforce planning.
