Job summary

ASOS is seeking a Digital Studio Operator to join the Creative and AI Studio. You will contribute to the day-to-day output of the photography team, capturing and styling imagery for 200,000+ products across listings and display pages.

Reporting to the Senior Photographer, you will work in a fast-paced studio, manage on-set prep, ensure accurate product naming, and support AI-driven workflows while upholding quality standards and brand guidelines.

Qualifications

• Computer literate; Mac/PC experience is a plus.
• Previous studio assistant or studio environment experience is beneficial.
• Basic understanding of still life product photography.
• Basic understanding of studio lighting and Capture One.
• Basic understanding of photogrammetry.
• Basic understanding of how clothing fits and how to dress mannequins.
• Basic understanding of AI image generation.
• Strong attention to detail with a natural flair for photography.
• Ability to adapt and execute different shooting methods and shoot types.
• Strong organization, prioritising and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Capture and style high-quality imagery across a diverse product range using multi-camera studio setups.
• Prepare on-set product prep including styling and dressing of mannequins for accurate capture for AI generation.
• Accurately name/coding products to ensure a smooth workflow.
• Fully support management of studio kit and equipment.
• Follow established processes across platforms and systems.
• Manage time effectively to meet team KPIs and SLAs.
• Demonstrate strong multitasking and organisational skills under pressure.
• Check your own work and maintain high creative/quality standards.
• Support onboarding of new starters and freelancers when required.
• Contribute to department objectives and OKRs.
