Job summary

New Elizabethan School in Kidderminster is seeking a passionate Secondary Teacher to join our small, collaborative team in a unique SEND setting. You will plan and deliver engaging, child-centred lessons across Years 7–14, adapting curriculum pathways for diverse needs, including Cognition and Learning, ASC, and anxiety.

A QTS and SEND experience are essential. The role is 40 hours per week, term-time, with salary from £34,000 up to £45,000 DOE and starts January 2027.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with strong subject knowledge and ongoing professional development.
• Experience teaching across Years 7–14 in a specialist SEND setting, with child-centred pedagogy and adaptive teaching.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver highly differentiated lessons and sensory-accessible activities for SEND learners across Years 7–14.
• Contribute to whole-school curriculum development and enrichment opportunities.
• Assess, track pupil progress and use assessment-for-learning strategies.
