Formación

• QTS or an appropriate recognised teaching qualification.
• Strong musical knowledge and practical teaching skills.
• Confidence in planning performance-based and classroom learning activities.
• A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and student development.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and deliver stimulating Music lessons appropriate to the assigned year groups.
• Teach musical skills including listening, performance, composition and musical understanding.
• Develop students' knowledge of musical elements, styles, genres and traditions.
• Encourage creativity, confidence and effective collaboration through practical activities.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback that supports musical development.
• Adapt lessons for students with different levels of experience and ability.
• Organise resources and equipment responsibly and maintain appropriate classroom routines.
• Support rehearsals, performances or enrichment activities where required.
• Promote an inclusive learning environment in which all students can participate.
• Contribute to curriculum planning and the development of the Music provision.
