Job summary

Academics is seeking a Music Teacher for secondary schools in Rhondda Cynon Taf (R.C.T). The role starts on 5 October 2026 and continues to the end of the 2027/28 academic year.

You will teach students to play instruments, read music, and contribute to school plays and workshops. The position offers PAYE employment, with a daily rate of 173–260 depending on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• QTS is required for the role.
• DBS check can be produced through us.
• Registered with the Educational Workforce Council (EWC) via us.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare schemes of learning and lessons.
• Use innovative teaching methods aligned with the national curriculum.
• Use regular assessments to monitor progress and set targets.
