Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a welcoming mainstream secondary school in Rhondda Cynon Taf (RCT) seeking a Drama Teacher for an immediate, long-term temporary role. You will plan and deliver engaging Drama lessons across the secondary age range, manage behaviour and help students develop performance and creative skills.

The role requires QTS with Drama, experience in a secondary setting, strong knowledge of the curriculum, excellent classroom management and a creative, adaptable approach.

Salary: £172.98 - £210 per day

The school is looking to appoint a passionate Drama Teacher on a long-term temporary basis with an immediate start. The successful Drama Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Drama lessons across the secondary age range, managing classroom behaviour and supporting students to develop their performance, communication and creative skills.

The successful Drama Teacher will have:

• QTS with a relevant Drama specialism (NQTs are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching Drama within a secondary school setting
• Strong knowledge of the Drama curriculum
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• An enthusiastic, creative and adaptable approach to teaching
