Job summary

Teaching Personnel is recruiting for a dedicated Secondary School Teacher to join a welcoming school in the Rhondda Cynon Taf area for a full-time role. You will teach Key Stages 3 and 4 (ages 11–16), plan lessons, support diverse learners, and work with colleagues to drive pupil success.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification is required.
• EWC registration in Teacher category is required.
• Enhanced DBS Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Two recent professional education references are required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every pupil can succeed.
• Monitor, assess and track pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
• Support pupils with a range of abilities, including ALN.
• Collaborate with colleagues to help pupils achieve their potential.
