Job summary

Impact Initiatives is seeking a creative, organised Marketing & Events Apprentice to join our Central Team. You’ll help tell compelling stories, build our profile and connect with communities across Sussex.

We offer a 15‑month part‑time contract (30 hours/week) with structured learning, real-world experience across campaigns, events and digital marketing. You’ll develop skills in Canva, SEO and content creation while supporting cross‑team activities.

Qualifications

• Excellent written English and clear, engaging communication
• Genuine interest in marketing, fundraising and charities
• Creativity with design and consistent branding
• Strong organisation and attention to detail
• Willingness to travel across Sussex to services/events
• Apprenticeship eligibility and commitment to off‑the‑job learning

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver events, campaigns and networking activities.
• Create accessible marketing content for digital and print channels within brand guidelines.
• Support social media, website content, SEO and campaign reporting.
• Build relationships with local businesses, supporters, participants and partners.
• Research awards and contribute to strong, evidence‑based submissions.
