Job summary

Impact Initiatives in Sussex is offering a Marketing & Events Apprentice role within our Central Team. You will gain hands-on experience across content, campaigns, events, digital marketing, fundraising and corporate engagement while completing a Level 3 AI Digital Marketing apprenticeship.

This hands-on role includes collaboration across teams, occasional evenings/weekends, and a path to develop within a community-focused charity serving people across Sussex.

Qualifications

• Excellent written English and the ability to communicate clearly with diverse audiences.
• Genuine interest in marketing, campaigns, fundraising and charity work.
• Creativity with an eye for accessible design and brand-consistent materials.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail; comfortable using digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and delivery of events, campaigns and networking activity, including some evening/weekend events.
• Create marketing content for digital and print channels in line with our brand.
• Support social media, website content, SEO, paid digital activity and reporting on campaign performance.
• Help build relationships with local businesses, corporate supporters, event participants and community partners.
• Research awards and profile-raising opportunities and contribute to submissions.
