Protocol Education Limited is looking for an Artistic Learning Support Worker to join a well-established SEND school in Telford. You will use creative and sensory-based activities to engage pupils with autism and SEMH, supporting education and life skills in a nurturing setting.

The role involves 1:1 and group work, collaborating with teachers to tailor learning to EHCP targets and individual needs, whilst fostering confidence and communication through the arts.

Formación

• Background or qualifications in art, drama, music or related field.
• Experience working with children or young people, ideally with SEND.
• Understanding of autism, SEMH and educational challenges.
• Patient, empathetic, adaptable and confident with individual needs.
• Ability to build relationships and use creative thinking to overcome learning barriers.
• Passion for inclusion and helping young people reach their potential.

Responsabilidades

• Support pupils' educational, social and emotional development through creative activities.
• Use art, drama, music, movement and sensory approaches to encourage communication and engagement.
• Provide one-to-one and small-group support aligned with EHCP targets.
• Help pupils develop confidence, independence, resilience and positive relationships.
• Support emotional regulation and participation in daily routines.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to deliver personalised learning strategies.
• Create a welcoming, inclusive and stimulating environment where every pupil feels valued and supported.
