Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young adults with SEND (autism, speech and language difficulties, physical disabilities, or severe learning needs).
• Patient, compassionate and adaptable with a passion for helping students succeed.
• Thrive in early years and primary education settings; creativity and sensory engagement are key.
• Ability to use artistic, dramatic, or musical skills to create an inspiring and supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging, interactive activities that capture students’ attention and imagination.
• Support sensory integration and encourage positive participation in the classroom.
• Assist teachers in assessing pupils' progress and adapting approaches to meet needs.
• Promote a nurturing and inclusive environment in line with the school’s ethos and policies.
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers to ensure continuity in student support.
