Class Mate Education Limited invites applications for an EYFS Teacher for a primary school in Heanor, Derbyshire. The role is full-time and temporary, starting shortly, with a daily rate of £150–£190.

The successful candidate will plan and deliver age-appropriate EYFS activities, support early development across core areas, and monitor progress through observations. QTS is required, with EYFS experience and a commitment to nurturing confident, curious learners.

Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Has experience teaching in EYFS or the Early Years Foundation Stage.
• Understands the EYFS framework and early childhood development.
• Can create positive relationships and manage the learning environment effectively.
• Is patient, organised and committed to helping every child progress.

EYFS Teacher – Early Years

£150–£190 per day | Heanor, Derbyshire | Full-time | Temporary

Class Mate is recruiting a dedicated EYFS Teacher for a primary school in Heanor, starting Monday 2 November 2026, following the November half-term break.

This role would suit an enthusiastic Early Years teacher who can create a nurturing, engaging classroom environment and support children as they develop the foundations for future learning. You'll help young learners build confidence, communication skills and independence through purposeful play and structured activities.

The role
