Job summary

Woodheys Primary School is seeking a Reception Teacher on a fixed-term maternity cover from 18 January 2027 (possible start 5 January 2027). The post is 0.6 FTE (3 days) and welcomes MPR/ECTs. You will join a supportive, active Early Years team delivering engaging learning and building strong home–school partnerships.

The role focuses on high-quality early years practice with SEND/EAL considerations, ongoing professional development, and involvement in wider school life.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in Early Years
• Sound understanding of the Early Years curriculum
• Able to adapt to meet needs including SEND and EAL
