Job summary

TeacherActive is working with an OFSTED Outstanding nursery in Leeds to recruit an Early Years Practitioner focused on creativity, music and arts. You will support children aged 2-5 in a welcoming preschool setting, with ongoing training and clear progression pathways.

The role offers long-term development with the potential for a permanent position, a dedicated consultant team, CPD opportunities, and market-leading pay terms.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification, or a relevant degree in Arts, Music, Speech and Language or a related creative subject
• Experience working with children within an Early Years setting
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• A passion for creativity, music, communication and child development
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A positive, proactive and nurturing approach

Responsibilities

• Support children aged 2-5 through engaging activities, creative play and early communication development
• Help to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment
• Based in the preschool room with long-term potential for a permanent position
