Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting an Early Years Practitioner for a long-term role in Leeds, supporting children aged 2-5 within an OFSTED Outstanding nursery. The role emphasises creativity, music and arts to inspire early development, with ongoing training and clear career progression.

The successful candidate will hold Level 2/3 EY qualifications or a related creative degree and demonstrate strong communication, teamwork and a nurturing approach to young learners.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Early Years setting, supporting ages 2-5.
• Understanding of the EYFS framework and development milestones.
• Passion for creativity, music and child development.

Responsibilities

• Support children aged 2-5 in a preschool setting with engaging activities.
• Facilitate creative play, music, and early communication development.
• Contribute to a stimulating, inclusive learning environment and teamwork with staff.
