St Peter’s School York is recruiting a Cover Early Years Educator to join The Rise Nursery, opening January 2027. We are seeking a caring, creative and hardworking person with relevant experience working with children and a commitment to becoming an excellent practitioner.

The role involves delivering a safe, stimulating, language-rich environment, planning in-the-moment learning, and building strong relationships with families as part of a supportive EYFS team.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, stimulating, language-rich and child-led learning environment for babies and young children.
• Plan learning in the moment responding to children's play.
• Be a devoted, attuned keyperson and build strong relationships with families.
• Assess and share learning milestones with parents using our focus child approach.
• Engage with training, Curiosity Approach and Reggio Emilia Inspired philosophy.
• Collaborate with team members to support the nursery's aims.
