Creative Director – Social-First Creative Agency – To £90k + bonus – East London / Hybrid

Award-winning social-first creative agency seeks strategic Creative Director with solid leadership experience.

The agency

This agile, 40-strong team of creatives, strategists, designers, editors and account managers works with an impressive list of global brands in FMCG, beauty and consumer tech.

Fully integrated with social-first thinking, they have spent the last decade turning those brands into digital storytellers with exceptional content that cuts through the noise and results to match.

Now they are looking for a seasoned, commercially minded Creative Director to head up their creative and strategic output.

The Creative Director opportunity

This is a rare chance to make your mark.

In this newly created role, you will be leading by example, helping to deliver projects and guiding teams to create and deliver best-in-class ideas.

Working in to the ECD, the ideal candidate is not only a highly strategic thinker and a creative doer, but also an experienced, autonomous leader who wants responsibility, understands management and can offer perspective to ensure the agency is really answering the client’s challenges.

A natural-born problem solver with a keen eye for spotting issues and fixing them, the new CD will enjoy getting their hands dirty regardless of the business challenge (no ivory towers here).

Therefore, a breadth of experience – including organic social community building, creating fame-driving integrated advertising campaigns, tactical experiential pop-ups, and paid social, as well as playbook and pitching – is essential.

A commercial approach is also key to this role, understanding how to unlock revenue and where to focus efforts. You should have a proven track record of building relationships with key clients as a trusted advisor who can help with any problems they might face.

You

  • Have at least 10 years’ experience in social and advertising
  • Are a natural leader and problem solver
  • Have a deep understanding of delivering campaigns from start to finish
  • Consistently deliver a high-quality product on budget and to tight deadlines

Work from home policy

Three fixed days each week in the agency's stylish, easily accessible offices in East London with Mondays and Fridays at home.

Salary and benefits

£80k – £90k depending on experience, plus performance bonus and excellent hard and soft benefits.
