The Alexa Brand Marketing team is looking for a dynamic, customer-obsessed, and passionate marketer to help drive Voice AI growth by connecting new and existing Alexa customers to the most relevant features and functionalities.

We are seeking a Creative Director to lead the development of 360° marketing campaigns with core consistent messaging that continues to make Alexa the most loved and advocated Voice AI. As the Creative Director, you will oversee the ideation, creation, and implementation of all UK/EU activations. Your work will span various channels and platforms including TV, Radio, OOH, digital, social, on-device, and events. In this role, you will collaborate with a high number of stakeholders from Country Leads, Campaign Managers, Media, PR, Legal to shape multi-marketplace campaign strategies and translate them into compelling creative assets that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and resonate with diverse audiences.

The ideal candidate is a highly collaborative creative leader with strong ownership and a good understanding of brand marketing, strategic and creative at equal measure. You should be a self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity, and able to think big while paying careful attention to detail. You should possess strong writing and design sensibilities. A passion for pushing creative boundaries while delivering on business objectives in a fast-paced and data-driven environment is essential.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Develop comprehensive creative briefs that align with audience insights, campaign objectives, providing clear direction and inspiration
  2. Present creative briefs and ideas to leadership and partner teams, ensuring alignment before execution begins.
  3. Lead development of ATL marketing campaigns across all relevant channels and platforms, ensuring high-quality creative output.
  4. Manage relationships with external creative agencies, oversee briefings, tissue sessions, reviews, and presenting decks to internal and external teams.
  5. Lead ATL creative and production best practices, guidance, and on-set support for EU teams. Document production process, consolidate, and socialize.
  6. Collaborate with internal creative teams, regional and global.
  7. Own the EU creative & production budget; allocate budget and control costs across all productions.
  8. Track and analyze the performance of creative assets, leveraging learnings to inform best practices on future campaigns.
  9. Insist on the highest creative standards across all deliverables.
About the team

The Alexa/Echo Brand Marketing team drives brand love and advocacy for Alexa, generating both long-term customer awareness benefits as well as shorter-term performance marketing and sales. We do this by increasing feature advocacy, comprehension, and trust, alongside excitement and desire for Echo and Alexa.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience in driving compelling creative strategy and execution at an agency or in-house creative team
  • Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote
  • Experience developing cross-functional relationships with product, consumer research, and marketing teams to develop strategy and consumer insights that drive compelling creative executions
  • Experience leading creative development of innovative creative from concept to delivery
  • Experience presenting creative concepts effectively to senior executives
  • Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines
  • Fluency in German, French, Spanish, or Italian is a plus
