Senior Sous Chef | Full Time

The Role |
As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspiring leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support continuous coaching and development of your team to achieve their best, while driving restaurant performance and delivering excellent results.
What You Will Do |
- Create a caring and supportive environment, celebrating successes and nurturing talent within your team.
- Ensure an exceptional guest experience by maintaining high standards in food preparation and team skills.
- Maintain spotless food, health, and safety standards, and understand the financial aspects of the kitchen, including gross profit, stock control, and labour costs.
- Build a coaching culture, working with your Head Chef on recruitment and ongoing development, fostering personal and professional growth.
- Be a proactive problem solver, able to make quick decisions on your feet.
What We Look For |
- Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef, with a focus on performance and positive leadership in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to have meaningful conversations and support your team effectively.
- Proven track record of maintaining high standards in food safety, health, and safety.
- Understanding of kitchen financials, including gross profit and stock control.
- Experience managing labour costs and adapting to changing demands.
- Leadership qualities that inspire and engage your team, fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels respected and valued.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, able to think quickly and adapt.
