Senior Sous Chef | Full Time

The Role:

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspirational leader, creating a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support continuous coaching and development of your team to excel while driving restaurant performance and delivering excellent results.

What You Bring:

  • Dedication to ensuring an exceptional guest experience, with dishes prepared to high standards and equipped your team with necessary skills and mindset.
  • Experience in maintaining spotless food, health, and safety standards, understanding financial aspects like gross profit, stock control, and labor costs.
  • Ability to build a coaching culture, working with your head chef on recruitment and ongoing development, fostering personal and professional growth.
  • A forward-thinking problem solver, quick to make decisions and adapt to changing situations.

What We Look For:

  • Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced, complex environment.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of having honest and supportive conversations.
  • Proven experience in maintaining high standards of food safety, health, and safety.
  • Understanding of kitchen financial performance, including GP and stock control.
  • Experience managing labor costs and responding to operational demands.
  • Leadership qualities that inspire and engage teams to thrive in their roles and careers.
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels respected and belonging.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to think on your feet.
