Elysium Healthcare Limited is seeking a Chef at St Neots Neurological Centre to unleash creativity in a 37.5 hour per week role, crafting daily meals for service users, staff and visitors and guiding peers.

You'll support the Head Chef, manage stock, menus, and HACCP paperwork, and contribute to events from World Food Day to Christmas and Easter. The role offers a balanced work-life with a calm environment and opportunities for training within a supportive kitchen team.

Qualifikationen

• GCSE English or equivalent is required.
• City & Guilds 706/1 and 2 in basic food prep is preferred.
• Basic Food Hygiene certificate is essential.
• Intermediate Food Hygiene is desirable.

Aufgaben

• Supporting the Head Chef for the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
• Maintaining good food storage procedures and stock rotation.
• Preparing, planning and cooking meals to a high standard with dietary needs in mind.
• Serving service users, staff and visitors in a courteous manner.
• Preparing foods for conferences and banquets.
• Participating in food costings and cost control procedures.
• Adhering to Safer Food Better Business standards and record keeping.
• Adhering to Food Hygiene Regulations and safety procedures at all times.
• Taking full shift responsibility for the catering operation.
• Researching and creating new menus that align with healthy eating guidelines.
• Filing HACCP paperwork such as temperature logs and cleaning schedules.
