Elysium Healthcare at Arbury Court in Warrington is seeking a Chef to join a dedicated kitchen team, crafting meals for service users, staff and visitors. You will contribute to menu planning, food preparation, and training peers, ensuring high standards and safe practices.

The role involves catering for events and daily meals within a supportive, sociable environment, with a 37.5-hour week and two days off, enabling a balanced work-life rhythm.

Formación

• GCSE or equivalent English required.
• City & Guilds 706/1 and 2 (or equivalent) Basic Food Preparation Cooking.
• Basic Food Hygiene (essential).
• Intermediate Food hygiene (desirable).
• Menu planning, costing, ordering, stock control and budget experience.

Responsabilidades

• Supporting the Head Chef for the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
• Maintaining good food storage procedures and stock rotation.
• Preparing, planning and cooking meals to a high standard, accommodating dietary requirements.
• Serving service users, staff and visitors with food and beverage in a professional manner.
• Preparing foods for conferences and banquets.
• Participating in food costings through cost control procedures.
• Adhering to Safer Food Better Business standards and record keeping.
• Adhering to Food Hygiene Regulations and safety procedures.
• Taking full shift responsibility for the catering operation.
• Researching and creating new menus that align with healthy eating guidelines.
