Job summary

Rising Sun is seeking a Chef de Partie in London to join a busy kitchen renowned for quality fresh food and welcoming service. The role offers scope to work with the Head Chef on new dishes and daily specials, with opportunities for progression through internal development programmes and a supportive team.

Experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef is preferred. The position includes such perks as free meals, weekly pay, and extensive staff discounts within our pubs and rooms,

Qualifications

• We are looking for an existing Chef de Partie or an aspiring Commis Chef seeking progression.
• Passion for producing quality fresh food in a welcoming environment.
• Strong service focus and commitment to consistency.
• Willingness to learn new skills and be a proactive team player.
• Ability to design and deliver new dishes with the Head Chef.
• Good planning and organisational skills to manage GP and labour.
• Pro-active in driving sales and engaging both kitchen and front of house teams.

• Have experience championing excellent service through quality food
• Demonstrate a passion to deliver fantastic food every time
• Be an active hands-on Chef de Partie / Kitchen Supervisor
• Show willingness to learn new skills and be an active team player with excellent communication skills
• Work alongside your Head Chef to design and deliver new dishes for menus and daily specials
• Demonstrate great planning and organisational skills to maintain GP and labour controls
• Have a pro-active approach to driving sales and delivering growth through kitchen/front of house engagement
