Advinia operates a Chef role at Millview Care Home in Glasgow, delivering daily meals to Residents, Staff and Visitors. You’ll contribute to events, themed meals, and menu innovations while maintaining high service standards.

The position offers a supportive team, a balanced workload, and a social work environment with regular interaction beyond the kitchen, including opportunities for career development.

Qualificações

• Must be 18 years or older.
• GCSE or equivalent English.
• City & Guilds 706/1 and 2 (or equivalent) Basic Food Preparation.
• Basic Food Hygiene (essential).
• Intermediate Food Hygiene (desirable).
• Previous experience in a similar environment.
• Menu planning, costing, ordering, stock control and budget experience.

Responsabilidades

• Day-to-day running of the kitchen and team supervision.
• Maintain food storage procedures and stock rotation.
• Prepare, plan and cook meals to a high standard with dietary needs.
• Serve Residents, Staff and Visitors professionally.
• Prepare foods for events and assist with costings.
• Adhere to Safer Food Better Business and HACCP records.
• Adhere to Food Hygiene Regulations and safety procedures.
• Take shift responsibility for catering operations.
