Job summary

The Collective by BCD Meetings & Events is seeking a Creative Artworker to turn concepts into striking print and digital visuals. You will apply your design skills, creativity, and attention to detail to deliver high-impact graphics that align with brand guidelines in a collaborative agency setting.

In this hybrid role, you will work with designers on projects across print and digital formats, staying current with design trends and software.

Qualifications

• Ideally you may have a design qualification and 2-4 years of experience in a Creative Artworker role.
• Strong typography, layout, colour theory, and design principles.
• Excellent communication and ability to contribute ideas in brainstorming.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and adapt artwork for print and digital formats (brochures, posters, social graphics).
• Ensure artwork accuracy and consistency per brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with designers to meet project deadlines and organize artwork files.

About The Role

As a Creative Artworker, You Will

• Prepare and adapt artwork for print and digital formats like brochures, posters, and social media graphics.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency in artwork according to brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with designers to meet project requirements and deadlines.
• Organize and manage artwork files for easy access and currency.
• Proofread and check artwork for errors prior to release.
• Stay updated on design software and industry trends.
• Participate in creative brainstorming sessions to contribute design ideas.

You’re Good At

• Crafting polished, print-ready and digital artwork from design concepts
• Communicating effectively and contributing creative ideas during brainstorming sessions
• Understanding design principles, typography, layout, and color theory
• Working independently while also thriving in a team setting
• Mastering Adobe Creative Cloud applications like Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign

Ideally You May Also Have

• A design qualification along with 2-4 years of experience in a Creative Artworker role
• Experience with motion graphics or animation software (e.g., After Effects)
• Knowledge of web design principles and HTML/CSS
• Familiarity with pre-press and print production processes
• Strong organizational skills and a proactive attitude towards learning new skills

You Should Know

• This role offers hybrid working with 1-2 days a week in the Milton Keynes or Derby office.
• Our standard working hours are 9:00am - 5:30pm with an hour break.
