Job summary

Rochdale Sixth Form College is seeking a proactive Visual & Creative Arts Technician to support lessons, performances and events across Photography, Graphics, Music and Drama. You will maintain equipment, run lighting and AV, and assist with exhibitions and enrichment activities, helping students reach their potential.

Ideal candidates will have GCSE English and Maths, a Level 2 qualification, and hands-on experience in lighting, sound, photography or creative arts technology.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4/C or equivalent).
• Level 2 qualification in a relevant subject.
• Experience in lighting, sound, stage management, photography, video or creative arts technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and practical support for lessons, performances, productions, exhibitions and enrichment activities.
• Maintain specialist equipment and support photography studios.
• Deliver sound, lighting and AV support for events.
• Be at the heart of the Creative Arts department and support diverse activities.
