Job summary

Levenshulme High School is seeking a proactive Art, Design & Technology Technician to support the Art, Design & Technology Faculty. You will prepare resources, equipment and materials for lessons and exams, while ensuring spaces are safe, stocked and well maintained.

You will manage inventories, assist with displays and enrichment activities, and contribute to student welfare duties and exam invigilation. A strong team player with good communication and organisational skills will thrive in this

Qualifications

• Good understanding of Art, Design & Technology, including Food and Textiles
• Practical, reliable and adaptable in a busy school environment
• Awareness of health and safety requirements and ability to follow procedures
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
• Positive team player with excellent communication and a commitment to supporting staff and students

Responsibilities

• Prepare resources, equipment and materials for lessons and practical examinations
• Maintain equipment inventories and coordinate repairs/servicing
• Assist with displays and enrichment activities
• Support curriculum delivery through effective preparation and stock management
• Provide welfare duties, first aid responsibilities and exam invigilation as required
