Job summary

The Coleshill School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated and highly effective Head of Creative Arts and Technology to join our supportive and ambitious team. This is an exciting opportunity for a DT-qualified teacher to lead and develop our Creative Arts and Technology provision, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning across the department.

Qualifications

DT-qualified teacher with strong subject knowledge.
Experience delivering high-quality DT teaching across secondary age range.
Experience leading or supporting development of a curriculum area or department.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the Creative Arts and Technology department with clear direction.
Deliver a broad, engaging curriculum across Creative Arts and Technology.
Plan and deliver high-quality DT lessons to engage and inspire.
Monitor and evaluate teaching and student progress within the department.
Use assessment data to identify development areas and improve outcomes.
Support and develop colleagues through collaboration and CPD.
Maintain high standards of behaviour, achievement and engagement.
Manage departmental resources and contribute to curriculum development and strategic planning.
Contribute to the wider life of the school and education for all students.
