Creative Arts Teaching Assistant.

The School and Role
We are looking for people with a Creative Arts background to use your skills and knowledge supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a mainstream school environment.
Your primary responsibility is to provide essential support to students within our mainstream secondary schools. You will assist with personal care, and hygiene, and ensure a safe and nurturing environment. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with teachers, implement behaviour management strategies, and contribute to maintaining accurate records. Your empathy, effective communication, and adaptability will be key assets in fostering student well-being and academic progress
You will build positive working relationships with pupils and utilise your knowledge of creative arts to help them to get the most out of their time in education. As a Creative Arts Teaching Assistant, you will get a feel for working in schools and gain valuable experience for a potential future in a role working with children.
